This wedding is an epic one.

I have been waiting for this wedding since around the same time last year – I had initially Skyped with Alex and we both arranged to meet for a meal in Oxford ahead of the wedding. I must admit – just like every meeting I get that tiny bit nervous, I guess that’s something that will never disappear. The moment I sat down with these two that immediately disappeared and we quickly found out me and Steve share an appreciation for steak haha. I think we spent majority of the meeting discussing the best place to get a steak closeby to the Chateau.

On the wedding day we had a few quick rain showers which changed Alex’s plans of an outdoor wedding meaning the wedding had to be in the barn – although this turned out be a great choice. The ceremony barn has such incredible character – set against the huge double doors, the light was flowing through with vineyards in the background. My favourite part about these two is their connection – during the speeches I would catch Alex absolutely locked into Steve. It got me thinking I hope Sam looks at me like that haha!

The evening photos have me laughing every time I see them, they sure knew how to party. We were all up until the early hours of the morning drinking and having the time of their lives. This wedding was special – one I will keep in my memories forever. Thank you for allowing me to be part of it Alex and Steve.

Steve left this lovely comment on one of the photographs I shared via Facebook.

I wanted to say thanks for everything. You really understand your clients needs and expectations. You and Chris helped us so much you were part of the wedding party. You drew on experience from other weddings and knowledge to guide us through the day. Cheers mate.
