Clumber park is a beautiful National Trust owned park within Nottinghamshire. They offer many routes to explore on walks, runs, and bike rides – there’s so much potential to explore, making it the perfect location for Kristian and Elizabeth’s photoshoot. One unique point to mention about Clumber Park is that they offer the chance to get married within The Garden Tea House and The Old Parsonage, having this stunning natural backdrop makes it the perfect place to get married. Who doesn’t love the thought of such a serene area and a lakeside stroll on the day of their wedding?
The grounds feature its very own church, and through the seasons not only does the scenery change but the different events they hold – there is always something going on. Keep an eye out for the gaggles of geese waddling around; its so funny watching the dogs chase around and them all flying off in a variety of directions. The geese always win!
Clumber Park Wedding Photography
Kristian has been a long time friend as we spent our secondary school days hanging out pretty much every single day. Over time we both moved on with working life and went our separate ways; I lost my hair and he grew his immense beard. Getting a message from him, asking to photograph him and Elizabeth was the best message I could have received – it means not only did I get to hang out with an old friend but I get to give them both something special to treasure forever.
I’m sure pregnancy can throw up enough challenges and changes meaning the opportunity to get smartened up and spend some time fooling around in front of a camera can be a little daunting, you wouldn’t have guessed that with these two – they were both naturals in front of the camera. Plus, of course, Elizabeth was positively blooming!
Welcome little Florence!
Since doing these photographs Elizabeth and Kristian have welcomed little Florence into the world – very soon another photoshoot will be on the way. Keep checking back for the forthcoming shoot we’ll be doing, this time at their home.
My favourite part of the maternity photoshoot, was seeing how happy these two are, hearing how they both met and their plans for the future. Having time to walk around and chat about these things make being a photographer the best job in the world.
Both Kristian and Elizabeth left me a testimonial which you can read on my about me page – have a read here.
