When I approach wedding’s I look for those intimate moments to capture and showcase forever. The little things you might not witness when you are living the day itself. Sharon and Daniel chose to have their wedding at Healing Manor, a gorgeous country estate based in the tiny lincolnshire village of Healing.

The Ceremony – St Michaels

The weather had be forecasted to rain all day – even my own weather apps were telling me the skies should be grey and gloomy. Instead we were blessed with gorgeous sun behind cast through the huge glass windows along the walls of St Michaels. The best thing about St Michael’s are the grounds – around the rear you have a perfect little grass opening with a view of the church, great for those wedding group photos. I highly recommend photographers to explore the grounds.

The Reception – Healing Manor

Over the years I have visited many venues, but Healing manor always ranks among my favourite. Set in 36 acres of the lincolnshire countryside, the house itself has two gorgeous lakes with 2 separate opportunities to choose from for your wedding. Sharon and Daniel chose to have their wedding reception in the main house, the Cadogan suite.

This shot of the girls I’ve put right up there as one of my favourite moments during a group photo. It’s generally quite difficult to photograph children during the formal wedding photos as they get impatient, but I don’t mind letting them run riot. Especially when it takes a great photo like this!

We took a walk into the grounds and discovered an open field with gorgeous views, blue skies as the sun was setting. I hope you enjoy these photos, I chose to do a smaller collection of photos for this blog article to showcase my favourites of the day.
